PROJECT AND WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT
We take project management seriously. We use Slack; the best collaborative software available to ensure quick, yet detailed conversation is facilitated one on one or in groups. Gone are the days of long non-productive internal meetings!
We also have developed our own collaborative workflow management tool, which we call Kyzen. Clients can log projects, tasks and talk directly with the developers. The thread of communication is always viewable and files and assets can be centrally managed avoiding delays and non-productivity.
DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT
SIMB Digital also extends our services into UI creative and design. We can simply take your PSD files or work with you to create a design to your brief. These services extend to the creative and production of eDM’s, banner ads, video and branding solutions.
- We operate a Lamp stack environment covering Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP.
We also like Postgres as well. - Our developers are proficient with front and back end technologies.
This ‘full stack’ capability saves time and improves quality. - We use Git for version control of code. Both GitHub and Bitbucket are used.
- We have a staged gate development process with an internal and client QA phase
to ensure work is peer and client reviewed. - And we have documented deployment procedures to minimise bugs mishaps on the live site.
